Nina’s tired of the lies and disappearances. Her marriage is on the verge of dissolving, but fate has other ideas. Now if she could only get in touch with her soon-to-be ex.
Logan hates that his wife filed for divorce, even though everyone tells him it’s for the best. He’s the beta of the pack—second in command—and she’s human. When he discovers he’s going to be a father, he’ll do anything to keep Nina and the baby safe. But will she let him back in when she finds out he’s been lying to her for years about turning into a giant wolf?
Here's a short excerpt (Warning it's a little spicy) - They sat quietly for a long moment. Logan’s thumb rubbed up and down her knuckles and she embraced the comfort of his touch. Even after everything, his touch sent every nerve on fire. His knee brushed against hers as he moved on the bed and she inhaled.
Logan’s gaze raked over her, clearly picking up on her arousal. “I’ve missed you, Nina.”
Her breath caught in her throat as Logan leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. She should push him away and leave the room—or better yet head back into town to get as far away from him as possible. Instead, her fingers went to his bare shoulders.
“Nina,” he said against her mouth while cupping her face. “I love you.”
She squeezed her eyes shut. The words were at the tip of her tongue, but she couldn’t say them. Nothing had changed. She didn’t know if there was anything Logan could do to make it better, but for the life of her, she didn’t want him to stop kissing her.
Logan’s mouth peppered kisses along her jaw and then to her ear. He gently nibbled on her lobe and she swallowed, pulling him closer instead of shoving him away. Heat pooled in her core as she tilted her head back to give him better access. Her fingers trailed along his chiseled chest; she’d forgotten how good he felt.
Gently, he pushed her back against the plush pillows. Using his knee, he nudged her thighs apart and settled between her legs as he continued to kiss his way down her neck. His fingers went to the hem of her shirt, rolling it up and over her head to expose her bare breasts. He leaned down and took one bud into his mouth, then moved on to the other.
Nina scratched her nails up and down his back, moaning as his length pressed against her core. Though the pants he wore were thin, there were entirely too many articles of clothing separating them. She needed to feel him, all of him, inside her.
